The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Gorgeous Grape card stock. It opens on the right and the fold is on the left. I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White card stock and stamped the butterfly from the "Wooly Friends" using Highland Heather ink. I colored them in using the light Highland Heather Blends pen. I taped that to the front of the card.
The Designer Series Paper (DSP) is from the "Love Notes" 6" x 6" stack. I used the 10th die in the "Party Banners" die set to cut them out. I took some white twine and wrapped it around the piece twice and tied a bow.
The sheep are from the "Wooly Friends" set and were stamped using black Memento ink on Basic White card stock. I punched the pieces out using the matching punch. I colored around the edges using the light Petal Pink Blends pen. For the legs and head I used the dark Petal Pink Bends pen. The bows were colored in using the light Highland Heather Blends pen. I taped the bodies down first. Dimensionals were added to the heads and they were set in place on the body. A little bit of glue was added to the bows and they were set in place under the chin.
The "hello" is from the "Sweet Bugs" bundle and were stamped using black Memento ink on Gorgeous Grape card stock. I fussy cut them out. They were from a stamp that read "hello friend" but I only wanted the "hello". I set them in place using pieces of Dimensionals. And the card was done.
This was a fun card to make and I love playing with these little guys.
Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's friendship card,
Wanda
