Reason to Celebrate, Banner Sayings, Easter Time Ephemera, Easter Card, Stampin' Up!

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I have an Easter card to share with you. I found it on the internet and you can see the original card by clicking here.  Please read on to see how the card was made.

The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Crumb Cake card stock. It opens on the right and the fold is on the left. I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White card stock and taped it to the inside.

I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Crumb Cake card stock and textured it using the "Stone & Vine" embossing folder. I glued it to the front of the card and set it aside.

The circle was cut from the "Spotlight on Nature" dies using Basic White card stock. On top of that is a wreath from the "Easter Time" mix & match ephemera package. I taped it to the Basic White circle.

The bunny is also from that same "Easter Time" package and was taped to the front of the wreath.

I glued the circle to the front of the card and set it aside.

The words are from the "Reason to Celebrate" set and were stamped on Basic White card stock using Gorgeous Grape ink. I cut the words using the  "Banner Sayings" dies. I also cut Gorgeous Grape pieces what match the pieces the words are on. I taped the words to the Gorgeous Grape pieces and offset them a little to give it a partial layer look. Dimensionals were added to the back and they were set in place on the front of the card.

I didn't have the embellishments that were used on the original card but I did have some retired "Halloween Night" enamel dots so I used them and I think it looked great on the card. I have SO many retired embellishments to use up!  And the card was done.

This was another quick and easy card to make. I love it when you can just pop out images and place them on the card stock and make a pretty card.

I did finish the pair of earrings I was working on but I was having difficulty taking the pic. But I got some tips on photo taking for smaller items so I will give it a try and hopefully post it tomorrow.

Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's Easter card,
Wanda
