Gears & Textures, Fabulous Sayings, Masculine Birthday Card, Stampin' Up!

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I have a masculine birthday card to share with you. Please read on to see how it's made.

The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. It opens on the bottom and the fold is on the top.

I cut a 1-3/4" x 5-1/2" piece of Basic Black card stock and embossed the "happy birthday" from the "Fabulous Sayings" set using gold embossing powder (and Versa Mark). 

I cut out several gears fro the "Gears & Textures" bundle using Basic Black card stock.

I glued the gears on the left side of the card front. 

Then I taped the word piece in place. 

I cut a 5-1/2" x 1/4" piece of gold foil card stock and glued it on top of the Basic Black word piece and overlapped it a bit to make the gears blend in better.  And that was it.

This was a very simple card to make with lots of pieces! It was fun gluing them on.
