The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic Beige card stock. A color I don't often use at all. The card opens on the right and the fold is on the left. I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White and taped it to the inside.
The floral piece was cut next. It's from the "Beautiful Gallery" 6" x 6" stack. I cut it out using the third rectangle die in the "Textured Notes" set. I taped it to the front of the card about 1/2" from the fold and 1/2" from the top edge.
Next I cut the circle using the largest die in the "Stylish Shapes" set. It was cut from Crumb Cake card stock and taped to the front of the card about 1/8" from the right edge and 1/2" from the bottom.
The leaves are from the "Petals of Beauty" bundle and were cut from a piece of Mossy Meadow card stock. I added tape to the leaves and set it in place on the circle.
Then I tied a linen bow and set it in place on the center of the circle using a glued dot.
The words are from the "Simply Said" set and were stamped using Mossy Meadow ink. I used the die from the "More Messages" bundle. I just cut the entire shapes (it's all on one die) using Basic Beige card stock. I took the one that would fit best with my words and then stamped the words on top of it. Dimensionals were added to the back of the piece and it was set in place on the front of the card.
I had one tan-ish "Candy Dot" left so I thought I'd add it to the bottom right area of the circle. And the card was done.
This was such a quick and easy card to make. It's a fun layout and it's got a warm feel to it.
Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's thinking of you card,
Wanda
