Christmas Tags & More, Greetings for You Ephemera, Christmas Card, Stampin' Up!

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I have a super quick and easy Christmas card to share with you. It's hard to believe it's only 8 days away. I do promise I will not be showing you 8 more Christmas cards in the upcoming days. Maybe one or two but not 8!  Anyway, please read on to see how I made today's card.

The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. It opens on the right and the fold is on the left.

I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White card stock and textured it using the "Jolly Holly" embossing folder.

A 2" x 5-1/4" piece of Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the "Christmas Tags & More" 6" x 6" package was taped to the left side of the card.  I think the "& More" is all the fun DSP that's in this package.

The wreath is from the same "Christmas Tags & More" package.  And the "Joy" in the center is from the "Greetings for You Mix & Match Ephemera" package.  It's a sticker and I actually removed the backing this tie and stuck it to the center of the wreath.

I took some thin gold thread and wrapped it around my fingers 6 times. Using a large glue dot I stuck the thread to it and set it aside while I added Dimensionals to the back of the round wreath piece. Once the backing was removed on the Dimensionals I set the thread in place on the back and then I set it in place on the front of the card.

A bow was added from the same "Christmas Tags & More" package. I cut tiny pieces of Dimensionals and added it to the back and then set the bow in place.

There are some holly leaves in the "Christmas Tags & More" package and I took one and glued it to the bottom right corner of the card.

I thought the card could use some bling but I wasn't sure what to add. I ended up adding a bit of glue to the center of the hollies and sprinkled ultra fine red glitter on them.  And that was it, the card was done.

This was a very quick and easy card to make. I have lots of pieces left in both of those package and I will probably be making more Christmas cards until it's used up.  I need to make 2026 a year that I actually use up stuff! Wouldn't that be a great accomplishment?  It would be for me. Wish me luck!

Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's Christmas card,
Wanda
