Spooky Halloween, Spooky Sweet, Halloween Card, Stampin' Up!

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I have a super easy Halloween card to share with you. Please read on to see how it was made.

The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic Black card stock. It opens on the right and the fold is on the left.

I used a piece of scrap Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the "Spooky Sweets" 12" x 12" package. It measures 2-1/2" x 5". I taped it to a piece of Pumpkin Pie card stock that measures 2-3/4" x 5-1/4" and then I taped that to the front of the card about 1/4" from the top, bottom and fold.

The white piece is cut from a sheet in the same package of DSP. I snipped the corners. A bottle from that same package was popped out and taped to the white piece. The spider piece was another one that was popped out. Dimensionals were added to the back and it was set in place on top of the bottle. Dimensionals were added to the back of the white piece and it was set aside.

The words are from the "Spooky Halloween"  bundle and were stamped on a scrap piece of Basic White card stock using black Memento ink. I trimmed the piece to measure 2-3/8" x 1-1/8". The Pumpkin Pie layer was cut at 2-1/2" x 1-3/8".  I taped the two pieces together. Dimensionals were added to the back and it was set in place at the top of the card. I centered it as much as I could by eyeing it.

The white piece was added next, it's about 3/8" up from the bottom edge and 1/4" from the right edge

I die cut three Basic Black bats using the die in the "Spooky Halloween" bundle. Dimensionals were added to the back and they were set in place using Dimensionals.

I added some Wink of Stella to the bats and to the spider and the card was done.

This was such a quick and easy card to make and I got to use a large scrap piece of DSP in my quest to use up that package. (Bound and determined!!! - wish me luck!).

Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's Halloween card,
Wanda
