Spooky Halloween, Spooky Sweet, Halloween Card, Stampin' Up!

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I have a Halloween card to share with you. Please read on to see how it was made.

The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic Black card stock. It opens on the right and the fold is on the left.

I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White card stock and taped it to the inside.

Next I cut one of the panels from the "Spooky Sweet" 12" x 12"package of Designer Series Paper (DSP) and I taped it to the front of the card. This package has a lot of fun elements to it. There's two sheets of fun door to door scenery plus a few other images. And there's two sheets of punch out images. Plus other sheets of Halloween fun! It's a great pack filled with lots of fun!

The hippo mummy is from the punch out images. Well, not exactly punch out, they are pre-cut and you just push them through the sheet and they pop out. How simple and fun is that? I added Dimensionals behind it and set it in place on the front of the card.

The words are from the "Spooky Halloween" bundle and were stamped on a scrap piece of Basic White card stock using black Memento ink. I trimmed it to 2-3/8" x 1-1/16".  Then I layered with a piece of Pumpkin Pie card stock that measured 2-5/8" x 1-3/16".  After taping the layers together, I added Dimensionals to the back and set it in place on the upper left corner of the card. It's about 1/2" from the top edge and 3/8" from the fold.

There are several bats to pop out on that same fun sheet. I added a Dimensional to the right side of the wing and tape to the other side and set it in place.  And the card was done.

This was a very fun, quick and easy card to make. And there's more images on that sheet to have fun with.

Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's Halloween card,
Wanda
