Spooky Halloween, Halloween Sweets, Halloween Card, Stampin' Up!

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I'm going to share with you another Halloween card I made using the "Spooky Sweet" 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper (DSP). Please read on to see how it was made.

The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic Black card stock. I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White card stock and taped it to the inside.

The gray DSP was cut at 4" x 5-1/4" and taped to the front of the card.

A piece of Pumpkin Pie card stock was cut at 4-1/2" x 3-1/4" and on top of that is a 4-1/4" x 3" piece of my favorite DSP from the "Spooky Sweet" package.

I cut a frame using two dies from the "Nested Essentials" die set on Basic Black card stock.

The pumpkins and crow image are from the same package of DSP.

Using the smaller of the two rectangle dies I cut an opening in the upper part of the candied piece of DSP. The black frame was glued in place around the opening.

I took a piece of DSP and glued it to the back of the frame opening.

Then the piece was taped to the Pumpkin Pie layer and that was taped to the front of the card.

The words are from the "Spooky Halloween" bundle and were stamped using black Memento ink. I cut them out to measure 1-1/8' x 2-3/8". Dimensionals were added to the back and it was set in place on the front of the card.

I set the pumpkins and crow piece in place using Dimensionals and set it in place in the rectangle opening.

I thought the words could use something so I popped out a couple of candy corns and glued them to the word piece and the card was done.

This was another fun, quick and easy Halloween card to make.

Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's Halloween card,
Wanda
