Charming Day, Floral Charm, Thank You Card, Stampin' Up!

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I have a thank you card to share with you that I found on Pinterest. You can see the original card by clicking here.  Please read on to see how the card was made.

The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Timid Tiger card stock. It opens on the right and the fold is on the left.

I stamped the leaves on the front using Cloud Cover ink and the image from the "Charming Day" bundle.

The circles from the "Stylish Shapes" set were cut next. I cut the Mossy Meadow ones using the first three circle dies. I used the second third and fourth for the Designer Series Paper (DSP) that is from the "Floral Charm" 12" x 12" package. Two were cut from the orange sheet and on the backside the circle on the right was cut.

Two branches were cut from Mossy Meadow card stock and were set aside.

The focal image was stamped using black Memento ink. I colored it in using my light and dark Mossy Meadow Blends pens and I used the Timid Tiger ink pad and a Blending pen to color in the flowers. I didn't buy the Blends in the in-colors so I just use my Blending pen and make do. Once the coloring was done I cut the piece out using the matching die.

The words are from the same bundle and were stamped using Night of Navy ink. I chose this image because it was the last stamp in the set that I have not used yet. It's the first time in a long time that I've actually used every image in a set! I cut them out using the die in the "Stylish Shapes" set.

To assemble the card I first taped the circles together and then taped them to the front of the card.

The branches were cut off at the bottom and a little glue was added to the parts that will be hidden under the floral image. Once those were glued down the focal image was set in place using Dimensionals.

The words were set in place using Dimensionals and for a final touch I added some (retired) candy dots to the front of the card and the card was done.

This was a very fun card to make. I have always liked circles on cards, it keeps your eyes moving around the card instead of being fixed at one spot.

Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's thank you card,
Wanda
