The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. It opens on the right and the fold is on the left. I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White for the top layer. It was textured using one of the folders from the "Glass & Gardens" set. I taped it to the front of the card base.
Next I die cut the squares from the "Stylish Shapes" set using Basic White card stock. I used the smallest 3. I taped them together and then I set them in place on the front of the card. I tried to center them as much as possible by eyeing it. You an also measure. The easy way to measure it is to cut a 4' x 5-1/4" piece of copier paper and fold it in half and then in half again. Using a pencil, mark where the folds are and you can line the points up of the 3 stacked squares.
The word piece was made next. The words are from the "Simply Said" set and were stamped using black Memento ink on a scrap piece of Basic White card stock.. I cut them out using the die from the "Stylish Shapes" set. I added tape over the "happy". I set it in place on the front of the card.
Then I die cut the flowers from the "Extraordinary Flora" Washi tape. I stuck one section to a piece of Basic White card stock and using the matching die I cut them out. I did need a couple of repeat pieces so I cut two sets out. The next set is a more purplish set so I set it on Basic White card stock for another day and moved to the more pinkish set. Dimensionals were added to the larger flowers. I set them in place but didn't press down in case a Dimensional was in the way when I was slipping the glued pieces in place. Once the pieces were all in place the card was done.
This is such a pretty card and I just had to make it.
