The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Very Vanilla card stock. It opens on the right and the fold is on the left.
I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Very Vanilla card stock and textured it using the "Damask Design" embossing folder. I glued it to the front of the card.
The Designer Series Paper (DSP) is from the "Beautiful Gallery" 6" cx 6" stack. What was fun about this sheet was I was able to make 2 cards from the one sheet. I cut it in half at 3" and then I trimmed off the border that was on it. I didn't want it on the card because only 3 sides would have a border. Once it was trimmed down it measured 3" x 4-3/4". I taped it to a 3-1/4" x 5" piece of Mossy Meadow card stock and I glued it to the front of the card leaving a 1/4" border on the top, left and bottom.
Next I stamped the words on a piece of Very Vanilla card stock using Mossy Meadow ink. The words are from "The Right Words" set. I didn't have any current die to cut them out so I dug out my "Deckled Rectangle" dies and cut them out plus I cut one out of Mossy Meadow card stock. You can cut your piece from the large Mossy Meadow layer before taping the DSP to it. I had some scraps to use up so I went that route. I taped the Mossy Meadow layer to the word layer. Dimensionals were added to the back and it was set in place on the front of the card. I just looked for a place that the piece wouldn't hide the pretty flowers and it ended up as you see it. And the card was done.
This was such a quick card to make and it has such an elegant look to it.
Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's thinking of you card,
Wanda
