Dandelion Wishes, Stitched Nested Labels, Stitched Triangles Dies, Get Well Card

Still working on some fun, bright, and cheery get well cards.  I have decided that I am going to order the variety pack of the new in colors because this whole 6" x 6" package of "Flowers for Every Season" Designer Series Paper" (DSP) is mostly printed in the new colors. I have been able to work other colors with them but it would be easier to have the colors.

The base of today's card is a folded half-sheet of Whisper White card stock.

I cut a 2" x 5-1/4" piece of Daffodil Delight card stock and a 1-7/8" x 5-1/8" piece of the DSP.  I taped those two layers together after I punched a 3/8" circle from the middle of it.  Set this aside you will be using it later.  Then I taped those two layers to the left side of the card.

I die cut the triangle from a piece of Daffodil Delight card stock.  You could cut the 3/8" circle from this piece if you forgot to do it from the strip.

Blushing Bride card stock was used to make the flower. I punched two pieces using the "Medium Daisy" punch.  I glued the two pieces together and then I glued the Daffodil Delight circle to the center.

I took my final scrap piece of the new Just Jade card stock and punched out the leaves using the "Sprig" punch. I added some snail tape to the back of the card and then stuck the sprigs to it.  I put a Dimensional on the back and set the flower aside.

The words are from the "Dandelion Wishes" set. I stamped them using the Misty Moonlight ink I had received in my May 2020 Paper Pumpkin kit.  I die cut them using the "Stitched Nested Labels" die.  When I cut my piece, I made sure the words were at the bottom.  You can switch it up and add the words to the top part if you like.  I taped the piece to the Daffodil Delight triangle.  I just matched the top and bottom tips and then the two left side tips.  I set this piece in place on top of the card, trying to center it as much as possible.

I added the flower to the stamped Whisper White piece and the card was done.

This card is far from where it started in my head but this time it turned out better than what I was originally trying for!  Happy mistakes?

Thank you SO very much for taking the time to stop by today,
Wanda

I like the combination of shapes for the layout. A daisy is always a winner.
