The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. It opens on the right and the fold is on the left.
I cut one of the images in the "Love Notes" 6" x 6" stack at 4" x 5-1/4". I taped that to the front of the card.
Actually, all of the pieces on this card are from the "Love Notes" stack. The "Be Mine" piece was trimmed to 2-1/2" x 2-1/2" and the purple layer behind it was cut at 2-3/4" x 2-3/4".
I trimmed the "Happy Valentine's Day" piece to measure 2-1/4" x 1". I should have cut it at 2-3/8" instead because the "Y" is awfully close to the right edge. I taped that to another piece from the stack. It measured 2-1/2" x 1-1/4".
Dimensionals were added behind both of the layered pieces and they were set in place on the front of the card. The top piece is about 1/2" from the top and 3/4" from each side. And the word piece was set in place about 1/2" from the bottom edge and about 7/8" from the fold and right side.
I added some hearts from the "Loose Valentine's" assortment container. It's got red, pink and white hearts, plus some little black bordered envelopes with a heart in the middle and some pieces that look like candy jimmies you'd see on cupcakes. Lots of fun pieces in it for shaker cards. I may just have to make one, it's the only way to use up all of these pieces!
So that's it for this card. It was super quick and easy to make.
Now back to my beanie. Yup, you guessed it, it didn't turn out so I'm on attempt #8. Persistent, huh? LOL So, if I happen to get it right this time I will take a pic and share it with you tomorrow!
Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's Valentine's Day card,
Wanda
