The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. It opens on the bottom and the fold is on the top.
I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Flirty Flamingo card stock.
The butterfly and flowers image is from the "Days Like This" memories & more card pack. It's got a lot of fun images to play with. This one was on top when I opened the package so I decide to see what I could do with it.
I stamped the "happy birthday" from the "Fabulous Sayings" set using black Memento ink. Then I taped it to the Flirty Flamingo layer.
Dimensionals were added to the back and it was set in place on the card base.
I added a couple of brass butterflies and the card was done.
I told you it was super quick and easy.
It has such a fun spring feel to it. I'm here in Minnesota and right now it's -5 but tomorrow it's supposed to be 14 above and then dipping down again. The weather here is such a tease. I know spring will come but I'm really tired of this frigid bitter cold. Not that I like to go outside, I'm an indoor person but when I have to go out I don't want to go out when it's this cold. Okay, enough of my whining. I hope you are all safe and warm where you live.
Now I'm off to work on a beanie that I started 4 times already. Actually 3 and a half. I started the 4th one and wasn't paying attention and the yarn ran out and the piece fell off my machine. UGH. My next try will be a success, right? I hope so. I'm SO determined to get it right. When I finish it I will post a pic of it here for you! Hope that's tomorrow! LOL
Thank you SO much for stopping by to see today's birthday card,
Wanda
