The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Poppy Parade card stock. I cut two 4" x 5-1/4" pieces of Basic White card stock. I taped one to the inside and the other I textured using the "Hearts of Love" embossing folder. It was a bit tricky to get that into my embossing machine. I ended up putting the folder in first and then slipping the card stock on at an angle. There isn't much room to move the piece around but I got it in enough so it embossed a corner of the piece.
Next I cut a piece of Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the "Cute as a Bug" 12" x 12" package. I didn't buy and Valentine's Day DSP but I forgot I have the 6" x 6" "Love Notes" stack. I didn't look in it because I forgot I had it. Maybe on the next card! Anyway, I cut my strip at 4" x 1-3/8" and then I cut the Poppy Parade strip to measure 4" x 1-5/8". I taped the two layers together and then taped them to the left side of the piece about 1/4" from the edge.
The words were stamped next. They are from the "Reason to Celebrate" set and I used Poppy Parade ink.
I the "Endless Love" die set there's a strip of 5 hearts so I die cut the piece at the bottom of the card. Then I die cut them from a scrap piece of Poppy Parade.
I taped the 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White to the front of the card. Then I glued the little Basic White hearts in place and then the Poppy Parade hearts were glued on top of them
I added some "Loose Valentine's" embellishments. They are SO cut and lots of fun pieces in that container. Once the were glued in place the card was done.
This was a fun card and it's so full of cute hearts, it screams "Valentine!".
Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's Valentine's Day card,
Wanda
