The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic white card stock. It opens on the right and the fold is on the left.
I cut a 2" x 5" piece of Basic White card stock and textured it using the floral embossing folder from the "Glass Garden" set. There's two long folders in that set. I glued it to a 5-1/4" x 2-1/4" piece of Coastal Cabana card stock. I taped that to the left side of the card about 1/4" from the top, bottom and fold.
The circles were cut next and are from the "Stylish Shapes" set. I used the second largest one for the Costal Cabana one and the third largest for the Basic White one. I taped the circles together.
Next I piled on the flowers. They are from the "Extraordinary Flora" roll of Washi tape. I cut a section off the roll, the purplish section and I affixed it to a piece of Basic White card stock. Then I cut the pieces out using the matching die. Then I proceeded to arrange them.
I cut a piece of double-sided tape and laid it face up. Then I stuck the bottom left leaf branch down first. The large flower with leaves was added next and then the double flowers. I tucked in the remaining pieces and added a single flower to the other three flowers. I turned the piece over and added Dimensionals. Lots of Dimensionals. I made sure they were covering where pieces overlaid each other. Once I got the piece covered enough I removed the backing from the Dimensionals and set the piece in place on the circles.
I laid the circle on top of the card to see where it would look the best. Before taping it down I stamped the "hello" from the "Simply Said" set using Coastal Cabana ink. Then the circle was taped down and the card was done.
This was a very fun card to make. I love that washi tape. I have SO much washi tape left. The roll has 66 sections and it's going to take a while to use up all of them! What's fun with them too is, here I used Coastal Cabana for the layers and other times I've used Highland Heather, Fresh Freesia, and Petunia Pop. It's all in the mood I'm in that determines the color layers! LOL It was easy to make and I'd love to make more!
Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's friendship card,
Wanda
