All Things Fabulous, Itty Bitty Greetings, Congratulations Card, Stampin' Up! 2021 Spring Catalog

Today's card was fun to make, though I did struggle with color combinations for the details in the flowers. I had forgotten I bought this set/bundle. It was at the bottom of my stack of stamp sets and I had been so busy playing with the other ones that I forgot about this one.

The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock.

I cut a 4" x 5-1/4"piece of Seaside Spray card stock for the top layer. I am thinking it might be prettier if it were textured a little. Or maybe Versa Mark or Seaside Spray ink. It needs something. I taped this piece to the front of the card.

I die cut the fun lacy image using Basic White card stock and I set it in place using glue dots. There's three areas where you can add a glue dot that won't show. But it didn't matter on here because the flowers covered most of the piece.

I stamped the flower from the "All Things Fabulous" set using Blushing Bride on the top one and Rococo Rose for the center of the flower. And the other two flowers were stamped with a different image using Rococo Rose for the base of the flower and Cajun Craze for the center part.

Then I stamped three sets of leaves using Granny Apple Green ink. I die cut them and the flowers.

The words are from the "Itty Bitty Greetings" set and were stamped on Basic White card stock using black Memento ink. I punched them out using the "Classic Label" punch. I added Dimensionals to the back and set it aside.

I taped the large Blushing Bride flower and set it on top of the lacy piece but I didn't press it down very hard on the edges. I need to make sure I can slip leaves under it. Then I added the bottom right flower using tape. The flower on the bottom left was set in place using Dimenisonals. Again, I didn't press down on it because I wasn't sure where the leaves were going to go.

I added tape to the leaves and added them there I thought they looked best.

Then the words were set in place.

Some Wink of Stella was added to the highlighted parts of the flowers and the card was done.

I do like how this card turned out but I still think the background could use a little something.  This would also make a great Mother's Day, Wedding, Anniversary, Birthday, Thinking of You and Get Well card.

Thank you SO very much for taking your time to have a look at my card today,
Wanda
