A Peaceful Pines Christmas Gift Tag

I have always loved handmade stamped tags, but I've never made any.  So today I thought I would give it a try!

I got out the Perfect Pines Framelits Dies and cut out a tree from a piece of Whisper White.  I had no idea where I was going with this.  I now had a tree shaped window in the middle of a strip of card stock.  I put the strip in the punch, it was a little too wide for the punch but I used it anyway.  You can see the curved edges. That how much it was too large for the punch!  

I was still lost!!!  I took a piece of decorative paper from the "Merry Moments" 6" x 6" decorative paper pack and I punched a tag using it too.

I had an old stamp sitting out that had "to and from" on it, so I stamped it on the white piece using Memento black ink.

I set the white piece on top of the decorative paper piece using Dimensionals.  I wasn't thrilled with what I saw but I was in too deep to stop there!

I thought some Mossy meadow sponging would help.  I even added some candy dots to make it look like lights or bulbs.  

I think my need for wanting to make a Christmas tag using stamping products is fed!!!  I'm heading back to cards and card crafts!!! LOL
