Gently Falling Fun Fold Friday

This post is going to take forever to do.  My keyboard is acting up.  The shift key is sticking and I type too many words with caps in them and I have to keep backspacing. Now you would think the backspace key would go bad too!!!  I have a new keyboard on the way and I think it will be here tomorrow but not soon enough for me!!!  Typing like this is frustrating!

Today's Fun Fold Friday card is a "Folded Paper Frame" technique.  You can just click on the link above for the fun instructions.  This was a LOT easier than I thought it would be.  This fold took all of 10 minutes to do, if even that long.  The image on the inside is done and set in place before you tape the folds down. You will understand that more when you see the pictures in the instructions.

The card at SplitCoastStampers was a square card but I wanted to make this a regular size so I just added the square to a card front.  After doing that I wasn't sure what I was going to do with the bottom because I had already added words to my card.  Those words came from the Teeny Tiny Wishes set.

The leaves are my favorite part of this card.  They are from the Gently Falling set.  I just took it off the shelf for the first time today.  I stamped the leaf using VersaMark and embossed it using Gold embossing powder.  Then I cut the leaves out and sponged them with More Mustard, Pumpkin Pie and Cajun Craze.  It was very simple and quick to do.

The ribbon took a little time.  Well, not at first.  It was after I decided to weave those pieces in.  That took a little bit of time but it was fun.  I did end up gluing the strips of ribbon in place. It was just too difficult to tape them. Click on the photo for a closer view.

I do like how this card turned out and I like this Fun Fold.  For previous weeks "Fun Fold" cards just click here.  Have fun with this very Fun Fold!

Thank you for visiting today,
Wanda
