It's NOT Fun Being Sick!

A friend of mine was not feeling well so I thought I would make her a get well card. It's NOT fun being sick but it is fun to get cards from those who care about you letting you know they are thinking of you.

I made this card for my friend Sharon who is recovering from pneumonia, the poor thing. I am hoping that she is feeling better now. Maybe receiving the card cured her!!! LOL

This was a fun card to make and I REALLY do LOVE the Stampin' Up! "Fun & Fast Notes set." It covers quite a few occasions. I like sets that I can get a lot of use from.

I used the Pink Pirouette, Basic Black and Whisper White card stock. I colored in the image with markers and added yellow brads to the center of the flowers. I added the strip of ribbon and tied on 3 bows. One just didn't seem to look quite right. Oh and I used the Bella Rose decorative paper. That design was such a soft subtle one that was perfect for a get well card!!!

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda

You are so sweet! I'm attending a "Get Well" make 'n take tomorrow night and have used your "campbell soup" theme for some party favors. You always inspire me! I've added a link to you in my blog - one of the favors are the carry pouch w/tissue and chapstick! Thank you always for sharing!

Get well wishes for your friend, she is going to love it.

I like how you tied your ribbon on this card. Great job!

I've been looking at your projects for about a week now. I'm amazed at how prolific you are! I haven't really gotten into card-making yet, but you are really inspiring me to start.

Wanda,

You're right! It is no fun being sick. We've been fighting this dumb virus for over a month now. That said, your get well card made me feel a little better just looking at it. I'm sure your friend will appreciate your artwork and your kind thoughts as well.

Hugs,
Snoopy
