Petals of Beauty, Lovely Arrangements, Simply Said, Birthday Card, Stampin' Up!

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I have a birthday card to share with you. Please read on to see how it was made.

The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White to layer the images on.

I started with the Crumb Cake textured piece. I used the "Lovely Stripes" embossing folder. I cut the piece to measure 2". I saved the other 2" for a future card. It's always nice to run across parts to quickly throw a card together. And sometimes it allows me to have extra time to work on a more elaborate card. I glued this piece to the left side of my white layering piece.

The die from the "Lovely Arrangements" was used on a piece of Basic White card stock to cut the eyelets. I taped that to the white card layer.

I used the flowers from the "Petals of Beauty" bundle instead of the ones from the "Lovely Arrangements" bundle. I stamped the solid part on Basic white card stock using Petal Pink ink. Then I used the detailed stamp with Calypso Coral ink. In the center I colored it with my dark Lemon Lolly Blends pen.

The greenery is from the "Petals of Beauty" bundle and were cut using Mossy Meadow card stock.

I added the greenery first and then I taped down the smaller flower. The larger one was set in place using Dimensionals. I added a retired "White Perfect" accents to the center of each flower.

The words are from the "Simply Said" set and were stamped using Mossy Meadow ink. I set them in place using Dimensionals.

Dimensionals were added to the back of the piece and it was set in place on the card base.

This was a fun card to make, it was pretty quick and very easy.

Thank you SO much for taking your time to stop in and see today's birthday card,
Wanda
