Matchbox Candy Holder Weekend Project

I know St. Patrick's Day was a couple of days ago.  You had your fill of green beer or now the bruises from being pinched are turning green!!!  But I just had to show you this cute box that Autumn had made.  She used the "Matchbox" Sizzix die.  I don't play with that die as much as I would like to.  This little box holds 4 of the Hershey Nuggets.

The box is made using Wild Wasabi card stock.  I am not sure if that is decorative paper for the cover or if it's stamped.  The scallop was punched out using Garden Green card stock.

The cute shamrock was made using punched out hearts and the stem of the shamrock was drawn in.  And I'm not sure where the "Lucky" came from.  It was punched out using the Word Window punch.

I thought this was so adorable and with Autumn's permission, (thanks Autumn) I just had to share it with you.  This matchbox can be used for almost any occasion you can think of.  You can even decorate the candies.  I like to stamp on mailing labels and then wrap them around the candies.  When I wrapped the candies with stamped card stock it was difficult to get them all to fit nicely in the box.  And the card stock didn't want to bend as nicely as I wanted it to.

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
