Sweet Summer Notebooks Weekend Project

I was playing around with some scrap paper and put together these 6 little notebooks.  I had some of the "Springtime Vintage" decorative paper left and it was enough to make these fun notebooks.

And I was playing with the "Sweet Summer" stamp set.  I think it's such a cute set! I had fun making these notebooks.  They really are tiny though, they measure 1-3/4" x 3".  Pretty small, isn't it?  But they are perfect for the purse or in the card.

For the image part of these notebooks I had stamped it on white card stock and I colored it in with Old Olive and Regal Rose markers.  The flower part was stamped on a separate piece of white card stock and cut out.  I suppose I could have stamped the flower image with the other one but I really wanted the flower to be touching the top of the curve.  I was pretty sure I couldn't hit that mark 6 times so it was best for me to cut the images out after coloring them.  It didn't take all that long to cut them out so it was worth it!

I think they turned out pretty cute.  I will be wrapping them up in some cellophane and putting them in a box for this falls craft fairs.  I have a bunch of 2-1/2" x 2-1/2" copier paper cut up and finally punched so I'll be making some little notebooks soon too!  I may even put some up for blog candy when I get a small variety of them done.

Thank you for visiting today,
Wanda
