Artistically Inked, Wedding Card, 2021-2022 Stampin' Up! Catalog

Grabbing another new set from my pile of stamps, I thought I would play with the "Artistically Inked" set.

The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Gorgeous Grape card stock. This card opens at the bottom and the fold is at the top.

I took a piece of Highland Heather and the lacy rectangle die from the "Ornate Layers" dies. I glued the piece in place on the front of the card base.

Then I die cut the beautiful flower image from the "Artistically Inked" bundle. I used double sided sticky paper to affix the card stock to before I die cut it. I didn't want to mess with trying to glue that piece on. In spots id didn't want to stick so I used my heat tool and heated up the die cut piece and pressed down on it and it stuck much better.

The words are from the "Artistically Inked" set and were stamped in Gorgeous Grape ink on a piece of the sticky paper that was left over. It was a corner piece that was just large enough to use. I used the "Double Oval" punch to punch it out. I also punched out the Gorgeous Grape layer to put behind the words. The Double Oval punch has a smooth smaller oval and a scallopy oval label.  I added Dimensionals to the back of it and set it aside.

I took piece of gold cord/thread and made a loop. I added a glue dot to both sides where the threads crossed. I removed the backing and stuck the loop onto the front of the card. Then the word piece was set in place.

A 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White was added to the inside of the card and the card was done.

This was a very easy and fun card to make. It's a perfect wedding or anniversary card. Lacy and flowery!  I had found this layout on Pinterest but I had shut down my computer before saving the link. The original card used a open scalloped rectangle. I don't know where that die came from and I knew I didn't have it so I used what I had and it worked out just fine.

Thank you SO very much for taking your time to see this pretty wedding card today,
Wanda
