Night in Bethlehem, Polished Stone Technique

Do you remember the "Polished Stone Technique"?  Well, now with the glossy card stock back in the catalog we can do polished stone once again!!  For this technique, on this particular card, we did it a little bit differently.  We used water on the cotton ball and the inkers as you normally would but we used "Wink of Stella" for the shimmery part.  It's VERY pretty on here and I do like how it looked. Of course, this photo does not do the card justice.

The "Night in Bethlehem" set was used here.  The city and star were cut out using the silver foil paper.  The star was set in place using a Dimensional and the city was just taped in place.

Give this technique a try.  I think I'm going to do this technique for the swap next week. I have an idea for a card in my head. I hope it turns out on paper what I'm seeing in my head!!! LOL

The instructions for the polished stone technique can be found by clicking here.

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
