Another Perspective Look at the SplitCoastChallenge Sketch

Here's a different take on the Sketch Challenge on SplitCoastStampers from yesterday. I think I wasn't happy with yesterday's card because of the ribbon. I think a Garden Green ribbon would look much better than the Pumpkin Pie one but I didn't have any green so I worked with what I had.

I made this card and I'm not overly thrilled with it either. I think the front small box needs something other than a cake on it. I am going to give this one more try tomorrow and then it's time to move on. I will also be posting a fun weekend project too. It's been a while since I've had one of those.

All products on this card are Stampin' Up! materials. Click here to find more cards and projects that are made entirely of Stampin' Up! materials.

Thank you SO much for stopping by,
Wanda

I think you met the challenge quite well with both cards:) I have many shades of green ribbon and they always seem to be the wrong color for the projects I work on! LOL
This may be a bit premature, but I noticed you're close to hitting another milestone count on your blog! Congrats for that awesome number! you do a great job here and I love seeing what you create every day:)

Frequent browser ... first time poster. Anyway I love this card!
I love the design and the lone cake. I don't think you should change a thing. But I will be back to see if you did!!

I LOVE this card and would be thrilled to get it for my birthday on Sunday! LOL :-) I think it's perfect but if you feel you must add something, MAYBE just 3 tiny pink glitter brads or dots below the cake? Sometimes I think that a card needs *just one more thing* but then I regret it once I make the addition. I do think this is perfect just the way it is! Congrats on hitting the 300,000 mark on your site! - Susan :-)
