Simply Said, Fully Flowering Ephemeras, Friendship Card, Thinking of You Card, Stampin' Up!

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I have a super quick and easy card to share with you. Please read on to see how it was made.

The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. It opens on the right and the fold is on the left.

I cut a 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" piece of Basic White card stock and textured it using the "Damask Design" embossing folder. I trimmed it to measure 4" x 5-1/4" and I glued it to the front of the card.

Next I cut a piece of Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the "Subtles" 6" x 6" stack. I used the "Petal Pink color. The piece measures 3-3/4" x 1-3/4". I glued it to the front of the card about 1-5/8" from the top edge.

Using the "Stylish Shapes" die set, I cut a circle using the largest die.

The flowers and leaves are from the fun "Fully Flowering" ephemera pack. I laid them out on the circle to see where I could add some words. That's when I decided that this was going to be a friendship or thinking of you card.

The "hello" came from the "Simply Said" set and it was stamped using Garden Green ink. I glued the circle to the front of the card. I tried to get it centered on the left and right and then centered it from the top and bottom of the piece of DSP. The top of my circle ended up being 7/8" from the top edge of the card.

The flowers were added next. I picked out two flowers and one of the leaves. The leaves were from the same sheet as the big flower. I cut it apart because it was a bit too long and this way I could make it look like I had two sets of leaves.

Dimensionals were added to the back of the large flower. I slipped the other flower piece under the large flower a bit and then the leaves. Some of the pieces caught a bit of the Dimensionals but some parts didn't so I lifted it up a bit and added some glue.

For a bit of sparkle, I had some pink rhinestones so I added three to the card and the card was done.

Such a quick and easy card to make and I do like how it turned out. There's lots of flowers and leaves in that package and I hope to fine a way to use them that's just as creative as this one was. Wish me luck on that!

Thank you SO much for taking your time to stop in and see today's friendship/thinking of you card,
Wanda
