The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock It opens on the right and the fold is on the left.
I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Strawberry Slush card stock for the layer. I used my 1-3/8" punch and punched out three circles from the center area of that piece.
The Basic White layer measured 3-3/4" x 5" and was textured using the "Exposed Brick" embossing folder. I glued that to the Strawberry Slush piece and then that was taped to the front of the card.
Using the second smallest die in the "Stylish Shapes" set I cut three circles. One of them I stamped the "hello" from the "Simply Said" set using Garden Green ink. I taped the white circles to the strawberry circles. Dimensionals were added to the back of the "hello" one.
The flowers are from the "Extraordinary Flora" washi tape roll. I put the section I was using on a piece of Basic White card stock and then cut them out using the matching die. I popped the flowers up using two small Dimensionals on each one.
The circles with the flowers were glued in place about 3/4" from the edge of the card and 5/8" from the fold. The "hello" circle as centered as much as I could by eyeing it. It's about 5/8" from the side edge of the card and 2" from the top and bottom edges.
I thought the card could use a little something in those empty spots so I cut the flowers from the "Impressions Abloom" bundle using a scrap piece of Strawberry Slush card stock. It looked okay but it still needed something else. I was going to add Wink of Stella but decided to just add some tiny pearls and that's just what it needed. It's sweet and simple.
This was a fun card to make and so very quick.
Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's friendship card,
Wanda
