The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. It opens on the bottom and the fold is on the top.
I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Misty Moonlight card stock for the layer. I punched out a piece using the "Labeled with Love" punch. I set it aside.
Next I took the image from the "Beautiful Gallery" 6" x 6" stack. I trimmed off 3/4" off the bottom first and then cut the top off so it measured 3-3/4". I also trimmed off the right side only so it measured 5" long. I taped that to the Misty Moonlight layer and then that was taped to the card base.
The words are from "The Right Words" set. They were stamped using black Memento ink on a scrap piece of Basic White card stock. The words were punched out using the same "Labeled with Love" punch.
I took the Misty Moonlight punched piece and cut it in half on the long side. I taped each half to the upper part of the word piece. Dimensionals were added to the back of it and it was set in place on the front of the card.
I thought the word piece was a bit too bright so I took my blending brush and Misty Moonlight ink and lightly scrubbed on some color. It looked SO much better after that.
This was a super quick and easy card to make. And I think the image made a nice sympathy card.
Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's sympathy card,
Wanda
