Simply Said, Extraordinary Flora, Birthday Card, Stampin' Up!

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today's card has a few pieces to it but it did go together pretty fast. Please read on to see how I made it.

The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. It opens on the right and the fold is on the left.

I cut a 3" x 4-1/4" piece of Basic White for the large layer. On top of that layer are three strips of Basic White card stock that was textured using the "Damask Design" embossing folder. After embossing it I cut the pieces at 4" x 1", 4" x 7/8" and 4" x 1/2". I glued them to the large layer and then that was taped to the front of the card.

Using the two smaller dies from the "Stylish Shapes" set, I cut them using Basic White card stock. I taped the little one to the larger one. I added Dimensionals to the back and set it in place on the front of the card about 1/2" from the top edge and 1/4" from the fold.

A flower from the "Extraordinary Flora" washi tape roll was set on the rectangles using Dimensionals. I had some parts leftover from cutting a section of them from a previous card. I have a little baggie full of parts!

The words are from the "Simply Said" set and were stamped using Gorgeous Grape ink. They were in the stamp set and I thought I'd use it. It blended in well enough with the color of the flowers. It set in place using Dimensionals.

This was a fun card to make and would make a great wedding, get well, thinking of you or thank you card too.

Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's birthday card,
Wanda
