Forever Fern, Peaceful Moments, Thank You Card

I am done making Christmas cards, which is good because Christmas was yesterday and I'm glad I'm not that far behind!!! I thought I would make a card with something green on it, something more spring looking. Even though spring is a few months away, it doesn't hurt to look forward to it!! I found this one on Pinterest. You can see it  here.

The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Whisper White card stock.

I have not done the misted block technique in a while, it's very easy and fun.  For this card block D was used. I inked it up using Soft Sea Foam ink. I did stamp off once because if you use it right from the pad it will be too dark.  After stamping off once, I spritzed it with my mister bottle that was filled with distilled water.  Always keep distilled water in your spray bottles. Tap water will get cloudy and stinky in time. Unless you empty out your bottles every time you are done with them, then tap water is fine. I just use distilled water and then I can leave it in my spray bottles and aqua painters.  After spritzing, I pressed the block onto my card stock.

I took the larger leaves image with the thinner leaves and I stamped it using Mint Macaron ink. These leaves are from the "Forever Fern" set.

Then I stamped the other larger leaves image with the wider leaves and I used Just Jade.  If you don't  have Just Jade, you can use Shaded Spruce. I had Just Jade in a cube, it came with a previous Paper Pumpkin kit.  I have almost all the ink pads in cubes from the kits.  Gotta love that! Sometimes the large pads are too big for the Stamparatus and it's easier to use the smaller cubes.

The words are from the "Peaceful Moments" and were stamped using black Memento ink.

I took the Sahara Sand ink pad and the splatter image from the "Forever Fern" set and stamped them several times on the front of the card.

Three rhinestones were added to the card along with a linen bow and the card was done.

This was a very quick and easy card to make.

Thank you SO very much for taking the time to stop by today and have a look,                                        Wanda
