Today's card was a very fun card to make. And it's a lot easier on the eyes than yesterday's "I need eye bleach" card!!! I found this card here on Pinterest.
The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Flirty Flamingo card stock.
I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White card stock.
I taped a 4" x 1-1/2" piece of Designer Series Paper from the "From My Heart" 12" x 12" paper pack to the bottom of the Whisper White piece.
I stamped the diamond shaped strip above the DSP using Flirty Flamingo ink. I set this up in my Stamparatus because I wanted to get it straight.
Then I stamped the leaf image from the "Thoughtful Blooms" set using Real Red ink.
I stamped the dotted image from the same set using Flirty Flamingo. I stamped it on three of the stems.
The words are from the "Varied Vases" set and were stamped using Real Red ink.
The flower was stamped on Flirty Flamingo card stock using Real Red ink. I punched it out using the matching punch.
I taped the Whisper White piece to the card base. Then I set the flower in place using a Dimensional. I added a rhinestone to the center of the flower and two more on the Whisper White piece.
I added a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White to the inside and the card was done.
Isn't this just a sweet card? When I saw it I knew I had to make it.
