A Papillion Potpourri Sympathy Card

I was working on a fun card technique I saw at Split Coast Stampers.  It had a 10 minute video. Silly me to think that the card could be done in 10 minutes.  I had to pause the video many times, go cut or glue something and then turn the video back on.  SO needless to say I didn't get the card done.  Plus I screwed up the first cut and didn't have any more decorative paper in that color.  So I'm not sure if the card will turn out because of the error.  But you can be assured that I will share it with you regardless!!! Lucky you!!! LOL

Today's card came from Terri's super fun Stamp A Stack last week.  We used the Papillion Potpourri stamp set and the words are from the Petite Pairs set.

The decorative paper is from the Painted Blossom pack. I didn't buy that pack so I can't make anymore cards like this but I can make them using different decorative papers.  I have TONS of decorative papers.

The butterfly was stamped using Wild Wasabi ink and punched out.  It was set in place with Dimensionals and pearls were added down the body of the butterfly.  The words were punched out with the oval punch and set in place with Dimensionals as well.

It's a very simple and quick card to make.  This decorative paper takes up most of the viewing area. It's SO lovely that you don't need to add much to the card to make it pretty!!! I LOVE papers like that.

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
