Easy Events Baby Card

I was in need of a baby shower card and I saw this card done by Connie at Inkspired Treasures.  I thought it was cute and colorful so I decided to copy it.

Of course there were "things" on the card that I didn't have.  I didn't have the scalloped from the Perfect Pennants die so I used  a flower die and cut two of them out and taped them together.

I normally cut my layers at 1/8" and Connie had cut hers at 1/4".  Comparing the cards I should have went with the 1/4" layers.  It's very difficult to see on here the white layer, the base of the card.

I didn't have any Lucky Lime decorative paper so I used Old Olive.  It did work but it's not as bright.  The Old Olive worked and the card is still pretty, just not as pretty as Connie's is.  As I typed that I had a big grin on my face.  The gals who come here to stamp say the same thing to me and what do I tell them?  Never compare your card to another! DUH, what great advice!  LOL  I am happy with the way the card came out and I'm sure the one who receives it will like it too and will never know it's not an exact copy!!!

This was a fun card to make and I may use this layout for some more images in the Easy Events set!

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
