Friendship Lip Balm

I had some fun making lip balm holders. What a fabulous gift these things make!!!

For this project I used Bravo Burgundy Card Stock and ink. I used a scrap piece of the Recollections Decorative paper. Yes, I still have some left and I seem to be using every bit of it! The pieces are getting smaller and so are the projects!! The "F" is from the "Headline Alphabet" set by Stampin' Up! And the frame around the "F" is from the set "Label Classics." I just stamped the frame on Whisper White card stock and cut it close to the scallops. Then I stamped the "F". Behind the bow it's difficult to see but I stamped the work "friend" is from "Everyday Flexible Phrases" by Stampin' Up! I sponged the edges of both the decorative paper and the white card stock.

What you are looking at in the photo is the inside of the lip balm holder. There are actually two here, one closed and one open. They are not very hard to do at all and like I wrote before they make fabulous gifts!!!

I found the pattern for this fun project on the SplitCoast website at:
