Sweet Ice Cream, Peaceful Moments, Birthday Card, 2021 Stampin' Up! Spring Catalog

I was on Pinterest looking for something else when I ran across this fun card. It's so sweet looking. Plus it's a great card for an adult or a child. You can see the original card here. I'm still up in the air about adding the candy dots or not. I may add them on the flatter areas so they are not higher than the Dimensionals.

The base of the card is a 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" piece Basic White card stock.

I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Petal Pink card stock and used the new "Stitched with Whimsy" dies. I used the second largest one for this card. This piece was taped to the front of the card.

The Designer Series Paper (DSP) is from the "Ice Cream Corner" 12" x 12" package.  I cut it at 4" x 1-3/4".  I'm hoping to use all of this DSP by the end of May when it retires.  But at this rate it's going to last forever!!! LOL  I taped the DSP on top of the Petal Pink piece.

Then a scalloped rectangle from the "Stitched So Sweetly" dies was cut using the second largest die on Basic White card stock. This piece was taped in place overlapping the DSP.

The cone was punched out using one of the designs in the DSP.  The ice creams were stamped using Petal Pink ink with Pumpkin Pie sprinkles, Highland Heather ink that was stamped off once and Highland Heather sprinkles, and the last one was stamped using Soft Sea Foam with Early Espresso sprinkles. They were all punched out using the matching punch in the "Sweet Ice Cream" bundle, or you can order them separately. I ran a line of glue across the top of the cone and added the Petal Pink ice cream. I added some glue to the top of that ice cream and set the Highland Heather one in place and I did the same for the Soft Sea Foam one.  I added Dimensionals to the back

The words are from the "Peaceful Moments" set and were stamped using Early Espresso ink. They were then cut out using the 1-3/8" circle die. I added Dimensionals to the back.

The ice cream cone was set in place first and then the word piece was tucked under it just a little. And the card was done.

Super cute and super sweet, huh?  Such a nice find on Pinterest!!

Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop by today,
Wanda
