Halloween Card, September 2020 Paper Pumpkin Kit

I still have a couple more September 2020 Paper Pumpkin kit cards up my sleeve. I have found SO many fun and easy cards to make. I was thrilled at how many there were out there, mostly because I had no need for party favors. This was a super fun set to play with. I did receive my October 2020 Paper Pumpkin but I have not opened it up. I did open the box and look, but I didn't open the sealed supplies.  I will work on that sometime next week. I have a feeling it won't have as many pieces and I will be done with it quicker. But in the meantime I'm going to make a couple more Halloween cards before Halloween. It's sneaking up on me!

I found this card on Pinterest but I can't for the life of me find the link. If you know the original designer of this card, please let me know so I can give them credit and a link.

I pretty much copied it exactly the way the original card was done, except for the bow. Their bow was a double bow with single threads hanging.  I don't know how that was achieved.  I will have to look into that.

The base of this card is a folded half-sheet of Crumb Cake card stock.  On top of that is a 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" piece of Crumb Cake card stock.

I took a piece of the party favor from the kit and cut it 1/2" wide x 4-3/4" long a I snipped the ends. This piece was then taped in place.

I took the last of my double pumpkins and one of the smaller ones and I taped the smaller one to the back left edge of the double pumpkins. Then I added Dimensionals on the pieces, making sure I stuck one where the two pieces met in the back. I set the pumpkins in place on top of the strip.

Then I added a little tape to the black curly piece and slipped in under the pumpkins, and the same with the Mossy Meadow leaf.

The words are from the kit and I stamped them using black Memento ink.

I tied the white Baker's Twine bow and set it in place with a curled up piece of glue dot. Then I realized that wasn't going to stay so I used a dot of liquid glue.

The gems were from a Paper Pumpkin kit a while back. I colored them with the dark Pumpkin Pie Blends pen and stuck them on the front of the card and the card was done.

This was a very fun and easy card to make. I like how simple it looks yet it has an elegant touch!

Thank you ever SO much for taking the time to have a look today,
Wanda
