Forever Fern, Peaceful Moments, Congratulations, Wedding, Anniversary Card

In trying to stick with my budget I did not order the "Forever Ferns" bundle. But I kept seeing cards made using it and the more I saw the more I regretted not getting it. So I gave in and ordered it and I'm not looking back. I love all the elements of this set plus the dies that go with it. I found this card on Pinterest, you can see it here. I made a couple of small changes but it's pretty much the same card.

The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Whisper White card stock. On top of it is a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White that was textured using the "Ornate Floral" embossing folder. There's also a couple of other folders I'd like to get but they will have to wait. I'll just improvise until then.

I die cut the second largest Stitched Circle using Whisper White card stock.

The leave/branches were stamped using Mossy Meadow ink that was stamped off once. I stamped and die cut two of them. I used the same image and stamped it using Cajun Craze ink and I stamped off once. And I die cut that one too. Then I stamped the rounded leaves using Cajun Craze ink and I stamped off once. I thought it was too light so I took my Wink of Stella brush and colored in each leaf. The Wink of Stella picked up a little ink and smeared it around each leaf and gave it a darker look. I liked it SO much better.

The words are from the "Peaceful Moments" set and were stamped using black Memento ink.  I think it pops too much and Mossy Meadow ink might have been a better choice.  I die cut the words with the die from the "Ornate Frames" dies.

I taped the circle onto the embossed piece. Then I taped one of the Mossy Meadow pieces, centering it as much as I could and then I taped another one to the right.  Next I added the light Cajun Craze leaves. I added them with Dimensionals. The image that was colored with Wink of Stella was added using Dimensionals.

I set the word piece in place using snail tape at the top and double Dimensionals at the sides. A single Dimensional wouldn't reach without bending the label. So you need to stack two together and then set the piece in place.  And that was it. I was surprised at how quick this card was to make.

It's SO pretty. I am really glad I got this set. I love all the images in it and look forward to playing with it more.

Thank you SO much for taking the time to stop by today,
Wanda
