Seasonal Chums, Snowfall Thinlits dies

I am such a lover of snowflakes and when I saw this new set I had to have the dies.  I couldn't afford the whole bundle (stamps and dies) but I knew I could swing the dies and have fun with them.

The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Whisper White card stock.  On top of that is a 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" piece of the Dazzling Diamonds glitter paper. And the top piece is Whisper White cut 3-3/4" x 5".  I die cut a small snowflake from the glitter paper. Before I taped those top two pieces together I spritzed the piece with Balmy Blue ink mixed with 91% rubbing alcohol.  I filled the spray bottle almost to the top and then added 8 drops of the ink.  I shook it up to mix it and then sprayed the glitter paper.  And I die cut the center snowflake from the "Snowflall" Thinlits dies. 

I stamped the "Merry Christmas" from the "Seasonal Chums" set using Smoky Slate ink.  Now I was ready to tape the two layers together.  I set the two layers in place on the card base using Dimensionals.

I die cut the larger snowflake from the "Snowfall" Thinlits dies using Whisper White card stock.  I glued the Balmy Blue snowflake to the large snowflake.  And then I glued the small white Dazzling Diamonds snowflake to the center.  I set the snowflake in place using Dimensionals.  And for a final touch I put a crystal rhinestone in the center of the snowflakes. 

SO pretty!!!  I am going to be having fun with this snowflake set.  I'm imagining a blizzard!!! (on paper only!!!!!)  LOL
