3-D Star Technique

This is fun and easy technique to play with.  You cut your card stock using the Stars Framelits.  Next you score straight lines from the tip of the star to the center.  Then you score the "elbow" or "crotch" part of the star.  It's located between each star tip.  You score that to the center too.  Then you fold the tip scored lines up (hills) and the "elbow" lines you will fold down (valleys).  Then you adhere the star with Dimensionals.

I didn't make this cute candy box, Terri did.  I wasn't able to attend her technique night because I was teaching a beading class.  I don't usually schedule my Tuesday's for teaching, but it happened.  So I missed out on creating this fun treat box.  I do not know if these boxes are available in the catalog of if they were created on Technique night.  But I suppose you could create any box you like and adorn it with these fun stars!!

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
