Paisley Prints Card Repurposed

Is "repurposed" a word? My spell checker didn't like it so I am assuming it isn't. But today is is!! Anyway...... a few weeks ago I posted a card that a fellow demonstrator Amy did. It's such a pretty card and she used my favorite card stock Marina Mist.

Well, I usually don't keep the cards that I don't have the stamp sets too. The gals who come here to stamp see them and want to make them but I don't have all the items to make the card.

As I looked at this card I kept thinking how cool it would be on the cover of a notebook.
I removed the wording that was at the bottom part where I have "notes" at now. I also had to pull the top layers back on the card so it would slide under the punch machine. That was all there really was to making this.

I cut some copier paper to fit the size of the card. The back of the card is on the back of the notebook. I just cut the card in half and was able to use both pieces. It's such a pretty notebook. It makes me think that I should start going through my cards that are made with retired stamps or colors and make notebooks with them. They sell well at craft fairs and they are WONDERFUL for gifts!

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda

I love this idea. There are lots of cards that I could do this with. Thanks. Jaqui x
