With All My Heart Thank You Card

My upline Sue is having her fabulous Card Buffet and yesterday I was able to attend the morning session. She had 10 wonderful cards to make and besides being very nice cards all the card stock was cut for you! All you have to do is pick up the tote with the card in it you want to make and go sit at your spot and work on the card. Everything you need is in the tote so you don't have to find anything on your own. So that meant no snooping in her cupboards!! Her cupboards aren't fun to snoop in anyway. They are so neat and tidy and everything is so organized in them. No chaos, no mess, no piles of anything. Where's the challenge in that?

Anyway, back to this wonderful card. The base of the card is Chocolate Chip and there is a Pretty in Pink embossed layer on top. Plus the edge was done using the "Scallop Trim" border punch. Such a pretty punch!

The words were stamped using Chocolate Chip ink, punched out and then layered on top of a pretty in Pink embossed circle. So cute!

The "Horizontal Slot" punch was used on the left side on the fold and the ribbon was inserted and went all around the front of the card and then tied in a knot. I love that new satin ribbon!!! This mini catalog is killing me! It's got so many nice and fun things in it! I've seen and played with most of them! Lucky me! Don't own most of them but that's ok, you can't have everything now can you? I don't have the room for EVERYTHING!

The inside of the card I will be adding a piece of white card stock so I can write on it. Tip here, write on it before you tape it in place! It's one of those mind over matter things for me. If I tape it in and then write on it I will mess up the words and have to try to remove the card stock. But if I write on it first I usually get it done nicely the first time and then I just tape it in place!! I know, I'm weird! LOL

Isn't this a cute card. Oh and it's a quick one to make too! This will work great for many other occasions too!

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
