The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Cajun Craze card stock. It opens on the bottom and the fold is on the top. A 4' x 5-1/4" piece of Basic Beige card stock was taped to the inside.
On the front a piece of Basic Beige card stock was cut at 3-1/4" x 4-1/2" and a piece of Secret Sea card stock was cut at 3-3/8" x 4-5/8".
The leaves are from the "Simply Leaves" bundle and were stamped using Cajun Craze ink, Pumpkin Pie ink, and Crushed Curry ink. They were punched out and laid on top of Basic Beige top layer so I could see where I wanted to place the words.
The words are from the same "Simply Leaves" bundle and were stamped using Basic Black ink. Secret Sea ink would work there too but I had just inked up my pad and it was a bit too juicy, though the Basic Black one looks like it was a bit too juicy too.
After stamping the words I took a dotted stamp from a retired stamp set ("Shepherd's Care) and stamped Gray Granite ink on scrap paper first and then on the top layer.
A piece of linen was doubled and tied to the stem of the Crushed Curry leaf. Dimensionals were added to the back of the leaves and they were set in place on the front of the card.
I taped the Basic Beige layer to the Secret Sea layer and then that was taped to the front of the card and the card was done.
I didn't add any embellishments because it's going to be going out in the mail tomorrow and I don't want to pay any extra in postage.
This was a very fun, quick and easy card to make and I'm sure my friend is going to like it.
Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's friendship card,
Wanda
