Dainty Delight, Days to Remember, Color & Contour, Birthday Card, Stampin' Up!

Hello! I'm happy you are here today. I have a fun card to share with you. I found it on Pinterest but I did change it a little. You can see the original card here.  Please read on to see how the card is made so you can make one yourself!! Yup, you can do it!

The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. This card opens on the right and the fold is on the left.

I took a piece of Fresh Freesia card stock and die cut it with the open scalloped edge die in the "Color & Contour" bundle. I didn't have the dies used on the original card but I took what I had and made it work. I had a half sheet of Fresh Freesia left.  Nothing like cutting it close, huh? LOL I taped this piece to the front of the card base.

Next I took a piece of Basic White card stock and die cut the scalloped edge image using the die in the same bundle. I taped this piece to the Fresh Freesia piece.

The flower bunch is from the "Dainty Delight" bundle and were stamped using black Memento ink. I fussy cut the image out. Why?  Because I didn't bother to look in the dies to see that there is a matching die and it would have been cut out in a few seconds.  But it's okay, I cut out more than the die would and I like the look of it this way.

I colored the flowers using Fresh Freesia ink and my Blender Pen because I didn't have the Blends pens. I took my Pear Pizzazz marker and colored in the leaves and vines. I set this piece in place using Dimensionals.

Next I die cut three flowers using a scrap piece of Fresh Freesia card stock. The flower die is from the "Dainty Delights" bundle. I also die cut the center of the flowers using the die from the same set and a scrap piece of So Saffron card stock. I glued the center of the flowers in place and then I colored them using the Wink of Stella pen.  I set the three flowers in place with a dot of glue.

The words are from the "Days to Remember" set and were stamped using Pear Pizzazz ink on a scrap piece of Basic White card stock.  I punched it using the "Double Oval" punch. I also took a scrap piece of Fresh Freesia card stock and punched the scalloped oval from the same punch. I taped the two pieces together and set it in place on the front of the card using Dimensionals on the right and some glue on the left side.  And the card was done!

This was a fun card to make and very pretty too! I hope you have fun making yours.

Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's birthday card,
Wanda
