Snowman Magic, Christmas Card, Stampin' Up! Fall Mini Catalog 2022

I saw this pretty card on Pinterest and thought I'd give it a try since I had everything to make it. You can see the original card here.

The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Starry Sky card stock. This card opens on the right and the fold is on theleft.

Now had paid better attention to the video I would have known to cut my Designer Series Paper (DSP) larger so I would have had a wider border. But it still looks pretty like this. The DSP is from the "Lights Aglow" 6" x 6" stack. There's lots of fun double-sided sheets to play with in there. Once side has metallic gold on the images and the other is plain. This card used the vanilla colored piece with gold snowflakes all over it.

The die from the "Snowman Magic" bundle measures about 3-1/8" x 4-3/8". I should have cut my DSP at 3-1/2" x 4-3/4".  So if you want a wider border use those measurements.  Center the die on the DSP and run it through the Big Shot.

The die cut piece was glued in place on the front of the card.

The words are from the same "Snowman Magic" set and were stamped using Versa Mark and gold embossing powder was sprinkled on them. Then they were heat set. I love using gold embossing powder, it's one of the powders that melt so smoothly. But to me it smells like crayons.

A 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White card stock was added to the inside and the card was done.

This was a super quick and easy card to make. I think it took longer to get the items out to make it than it did to actually make the card.

Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop by and see today's Christmas card,
Wanda

Gold embossing on a card always gives a touch of elegance. It's a very pretty card!
