Itty Bitty Christmas, Ever Green Forest, Christmas Card, 2020 Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog

I got this very fun embossing folder in the 2020 Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog. It's called "Evergreen Forest". I saw a card on Pinterest that used it with some gold foil card stock, so I thought I'd give it a try. You can see the original card here.

The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Shaded Spruce. On top of that is a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Very Vanilla that was textured using the new "Winter Snow" embossing folder. I like that folder because the snowflakes are so crisp and defined. And there's a lot of them on there.

I cut a piece of Shaded Spruce card stock to measure 4-3/8" x 3-1/8".  And the foil piece was cut 4-1/4" x 3".

The words are from the "Itty Bitty Christmas" set and were stamped using Shaded Spruce ink. And then die cut using the second smallest Stitched Circle die. I also die cut a scalloped circle that was just a bit larger than the stitched circle. If you want to save some card stock, you can cut this scalloped circle from the center of the piece that will be taped to the gold foil piece.

I embossed the gold piece and taped it to the Shaded Spruce piece. Then I taped that to the Very Vanilla piece that was embossed with the snowflakes.  I didn't have the same ribbon so I grabbed some off my shelf that was close and I added it to the piece. I taped the ends on the backside with scotch tape.

The piece was then taped to the card base.

I taped the circles together and added Dimensionals to the back and set them in place over the ribbon. My word piece was different than the original but I was just working with what I had.

I added a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Very Vanilla Card stock to the inside and the card was done.
