Boo to You, Children's Halloween Card, 2019 Occasions Catalog

I found this fun card on Pinterest, using the "Boo to You" set. I liked the stacked characters. You can see the original card here.

The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Basic Black card stock.  This card opens on the right and the fold is on the left.  The next layer is a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Pumpkin Pie card stock.  Before I taped it on the card base I had stamped the words from the "Boo to You" set using Versa Mark and embossed it with white embossing powder.  I die cut it with the smallest circle die.  I also die cut the smallest round stitched die using Gorgeous Grape card stock.  I taped those two pieces together and set them aside.

Next I took a 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" piece of Whisper White card stock and stamped the wolf first and then I stamped the mummy on top.  I did set this up in my Stamparatus. After stamping the wolf, I took a small piece of copier paper and set it on top of the wolf.  I stamped the mummy to make sure the foot landed on the heat and not over shooting it too much. I got it right the first time!  YAY!!!

I colored the creatures using Blends pens.  I used light and dark Crumb Cake for the fur part of the wolf. I used light and dark Petal Pink for the face and inside the ears. I highlighted a little dark on the face and on the nose.

The jacket is Highland Heather, light and dark.  The pants are Pumpkin Pie, light and dark.

For the mummy you can see the colors used here

I cut a 1-1/2" x 3-7/8" piece of "Monster Bash" 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper (DSP).  I taped the DSP to the left side of the Whisper White piece.  If your mummy is too far to the left you can adjust the width of that strip.  I taped it in place and then added a piece of black ribbon.  My ribbon is retired but I didn't have any current black ribbon so I am using what I have.

I taped the top layer to the card and then added the words using Dimensionals.

I taped a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White to the inside and the card was done.

This was a fun card to make and I have now used every image in that stamp set!!! I think it's a first for me.  Oh and I'm not done playing with the set, it's just too cute.  Though I will give it a break for a day or so!  I don't want you to get bored looking at cards from the same set.

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
