Here's a Card, Daisy Lane, Tasteful Backgrounds, Birthday Card, 2019-2020 Stampin' Up! Catalog

I found this fun card on Pinterest.  This was the card that made me want to buy the  "Tasteful Background" dies.  I had to hunt for the card because I saw this so early on that it ended up way down in my stash of cards to copy.  This is a very easy card to make.

First, the base is a folded half-sheet of Flirty Flamino card stock.  On top of that is a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Pear Pizzazz card stock.  And the Whisper White piece was cut at 3-7/8" x 5-1/8".

I die cut the fun flower border piece (that not much of it shows on my card. I should have moved the die closer to the edge.  I taped on a 2" strip of Dazzling Diamonds glitter paper to the back so it showed through to the front.

Next I stamped the words from the "Here's a Card" set using Pear Pizzazz ink.  I die cut them using the second largest Stitched Circle framelits.  I taped that to the card front.

I punched out three sets of leaves using the "Leaf" punch.  I clipped off the right leaf on each one so that each flower would have two leaves.

Then I stamped the flower from the "Daisy Lane" set using Flirty Flamingo ink. I stamped six of them.  I taped then together in pairs. Actually, I glued mine.  I set a Dimensional behind each one. I removed the protective covering and set a left in place, making sure it stuck to the Dimensional.  Then I set the flower in place. I did the same for the other two flowers.  I punched out three 3/8" circles using scraps of the Dazzling Diamonds glitter paper.  Personally I think the flowers should have a yellow center.  They are pretty but yet a little blah.  I may take my Daffodil Delight Blends Pen and color the centers.

And for the final touch, I added a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White to the inside of the card and it was done.

I do like it.  It's got such a pretty and elegant look to it.

Thank you SO much for stopping by today,
Wanda
