A Love and Sympathy Thank You Card Framed Spotlighting Technique

Today I thought I would make some swap cards on behalf of my sister.  She had surgery yesterday and is unable to attend the swap tonight.  SO, I thought I would ship up some quick cards for her.  I originally wanted to make this a sympathy card but I had a difficult time trying to figure out how to add the words without it looking out of place.  I ended up using the circle that was punched out from making the ring.  I took the "thanks" photopolymer clear stamps and I arched it before I set it on the clear block.  That way I could get it to fit on the circle like you see in the photo.

The base of this card is Lost Lagoon, Whisper White and Mint Macaron.

I stamped the flower image using Lost Lagoon.  I punched out some cute little flowers using Lost Lagoon card stock.  The ring was punched using the 1-1/2" circle punch and the 1-3/8" circle punch.  I used the 1-3/8" punch first and then lined up the other punch over it to get the ring.  That ring was set in place using Dimensional pieces.  I set the flowers in place using Glue Dots to hold them in place.  I added a little pearl to each flower.  That panel was set in place on the card using Dimensionals.  I taped and then slipped the word piece just under the focal panel.  I thought it looked like it needed a little something, so I added some more pearls to the card.  It was the best I could do in the time I had to do it.  I wished I would have thought of making cards for my sister a few days ago. Just too much going on in my life to organize a thought lately!!

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
