Bloom with Hope Hostess Set Birthday Card

I am really liking this new Bloom with Hope Hostess set.  Today I used it with the new Hello Honey decorative paper, marker, and card stock.  Yup, there's a 1-3/8" circle of card stock punched out just under the Happy Birthday!

I stamped my image using black StazOn and colored in the flower using the Hello Honey marker and a blender pen.  I set it in place with Dimensionals.  And the words, which I had done on my computer, were set in place using Dimensionals as well.

I used the Polka Dot embossing folder for the background.  It needed something but not anything too busy or it would take away from the decorative paper.  It was just enough!

I thought this would be a fun layout for that image.  It's not small but yet it's not big enough to take up most of the card front.  So you have to add a few other elements to bring it all together.  Personally, I like how it all went together!

Now I need to make a bridal shower that is going to be late.  The shower is tomorrow but I won't be able to make it.  It's our granddaughter's first birthday tomorrow and I don't want to miss that!  I can't believe how fast that first year went by!  We  bought her a talking Mother Goose stuffed goose.  It will probably scare her and make her cry!  Nice gift, huh??  Make the kids cry!!! LOL

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda

Wanda, you card, as always, right there at the top of the "great card" list.

Nice colors, image and balance. I use my computer for words and sentiments more than I do stamps...just can't find the right stamps or right fonts.

TY for sharing and enjoy your Grandchild, they grow so fast.
